25 Jul STEMPilot at the CT Science Center

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 the CT Science Center held a “Space Day” and invited many “hands-on” Space, Science and Aviation themed companies to exhibit for the patrons. As you know STEMPilot loves supporting the efforts of the science center and all they do to inspire future generations in S.T.E.M., so it should come as no surprise that we got to be one of their attractions.

Two of our reps, Shannon and Sean got the best spot in the house to exhibit our Edustation Pro.  Although the 6th-floor catwalk might not have been the coolest place temperature-wise (being the highest point of the building), it was the coolest place to fly from. The openness felt while being suspended over the floors below, facing the glass walls that overlook the CT River …. it really put our simulation into a whole new dimension. It was amazing!

We would like to thank the Science Center for hosting, as well as all the other presenters who participated in supporting Space Day. We definitely had a wonderful time and hope all the people who visited our booth did too!
