AITE - Academy of Information Technology & Engineering

Stamford’s AITE Engineering Dreams Take Flight

We’re proud to announce that AITE will soon receive its very own Edustation Pro flight simulator, a powerful addition to their forward-thinking Engineering and Aerospace program. And if that isn’t exciting enough—these students aren’t just simulating flights—they’re building an actual RV-12 airplane from the ground up. Yes, you read that right.

At STEMPilot, we believe in planting the seeds of aviation and engineering in the classroom—and watching students soar. That’s why we’re thrilled to share that the Academy of Information Technology & Engineering (AITE) in Stamford, Connecticut, has officially joined the STEMPilot family!

This remarkable project reflects AITE’s deep commitment to preparing students for real-world STEM careers through hands-on, project-based learning. Their aerospace program is more than a class—it’s a launchpad for future engineers, aviators, and innovators.

Welcome AITE!

Earlier this spring, we had the pleasure of visiting AITE to demo (CLICK HERE TO CHECK IT OUT) the Edustation Pro for Ms. Tina Rivera and the head of the aviation program. While we didn’t have the chance to demo for students, it was inspiring to engage directly with the educators who are shaping the future of these bright young minds. It was clear from the start: this is a school that understands the power of learning by doing.

As we spoke with Ms. Rivera and the aviation program director, it became evident that the Edustation Pro would be an excellent complement to their existing curriculum. The simulator allows students to practice real-time piloting skills while strengthening their understanding of physics, math, and engineering concepts—all in a safe, controlled environment.

These aren’t abstract lessons. They’re tangible, thrilling, and deeply relevant. And for students already working on the highly technical process of aircraft construction, the simulator becomes a crucial bridge between theory and practice.

Because AITE is right here in our own backyard, we’re taking this partnership to heart. We’ll be hand-delivering their simulator to celebrate the start of this new chapter together. There’s something uniquely rewarding about supporting a local school that shares our passion for aviation, engineering, and transformative learning. We can’t wait to roll the simulator through their doors and witness those first excited reactions firsthand.

✈️ Why Schools Like AITE Choose STEMPilot

At STEMPilot, we know that adopting new EdTech is a big decision—especially in today’s budget-conscious environment. That’s why we provide free virtual demos and in-person visits (when location allows) so educators can experience our systems before making a commitment. We believe in transparency, partnership, and real results.

And if you want to see what success looks like, we’re happy to connect you with schools in your area who are already flying with STEMPilot.

Schools like AITE prove what’s possible when we invest in students’ potential—not just with technology, but with opportunities to dream big, build boldly, and pilot their futures.

We couldn’t be prouder to support a school that’s not only teaching aerospace—they’re living it. To the educators at AITE: thank you for letting us be part of this journey. Your work is inspiring, and we’re honored to stand beside you as you take learning to new heights.

From all of us at STEMPilot—keep building, keep dreaming, and keep flying. We can’t wait to see where your wings take you next.
