What is included when I purchase a STEMPilot simulator?

All STEMPilot Simulators include:

How long does it take for a simulator I purchase to arrive?
  • Products generally ship in 6-8 weeks, subject to current demand, product selection and quantity. Arrival/shipping times will vary depending on your location.
What happens if my simulator breaks?
  • If a component of the simulator breaks while it is under warranty, please contact us for repair or replacement.
  • If something breaks and is not under warranty, we will work with you to repair or replace the component at additional cost.
Does STEMPilot offer a warranty?
  • Yes. Each simulator comes with a 1 year warranty from the time you receive the unit. We ask that you fill out and submit the warranty card that comes with your product within 30 days of receiving your product.

Do you take returns?
  • We support and stand by our equipment, and it is our desire that you be 100% satisfied. Returns must be authorized in writing by STEMPilot; return and pick-up authorization numbers will be issued.
  • Products are guaranteed for 1 year from date of purchase for defects in workmanship. It is STEMPilot’s choice to repair or replace any defective components. Due to the specialty nature of our simulators there is a 50% restocking fee plus freight costs for returned product not defective or refused.  Any damaged or missing components will be assessed upon arrival and cost adjusted as deemed necessary.
Once I purchase a simulator, will I get software updates over time?
  • No. Upon purchase, each simulator is set up with the most recent version of Prepar3D flight software that has been tested and vetted by the STEMPilot team.
  • STEMPilot’s custom missions are configured for the version of flight software installed with your purchase; upgrading the flight software may result in errors in the missions.

Where can I find information about how to set up and use the simulator?

  • We also offer instructional videos to walk you through the initial set up, basic functions and more. These videos can be accessed offline on your Simulators Desktop or on our YouTube Channel Watch the STEMPilot P.D. Training/Instructional Videos .
  • There is a recorded version of our Tutorial Flights being executed on our YouTube Channel as well for you to reference. Watch the STEMPilot Designed-Standard Mission Videos
  • In addition to the video options, each Simulator has a copy of the full STEMPilot Owner’s Manual saved to their Desktop (Partial copy covering basics and setup only is printed and included in the Customer Package). It covers things such as; file locations, what’s on the desktop, using the controls, software navigation in Prepar3D version 2.5-4.5, F.A.Q.’s and more.  The most current version is posted here as well.
