We’re thrilled to share exciting news out of Broward County, Florida! Boyd H. Anderson High School—an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and a proud magnet institution—has joined the STEMPilot family. As part of their commitment to immersive, future-focused STEM education, Boyd H. Anderson will soon be receiving two Pilot Pro 3i flight simulators. These state-of-the-art simulators are shipping out today and will be ready to take students to new heights in hands-on learning.
Broward County: A Valued STEMPilot Partner
Broward County Public Schools have been consistent advocates for innovation in education, and we’re honored to continue our relationship with this forward-thinking district. As one of the largest school systems in the country, Broward continues to lead the way in preparing students for careers in aviation, engineering, and beyond. While we’ve had the pleasure of working with several Broward schools in the past, this is our first time collaborating with Boyd H. Anderson High School—and we couldn’t be more excited.
A Look Inside Boyd H. Anderson High School
Located in Lauderdale Lakes, Boyd H. Anderson High School is a magnet high school offering a variety of rigorous academic programs, including its highly respected International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and Health and Wellness Magnet. Their mission to “engage all students in a comprehensive educational program that prepares them for success in a global society” aligns perfectly with STEMPilot’s own goal of using aviation as a gateway to mastering STEM concepts.
We believe the integration of the Pilot Pro 3i simulators will complement Boyd H. Anderson’s existing curriculum beautifully, providing real-world applications of physics, math, and engineering while also inspiring students to explore careers in aviation and aerospace.
From the FETC Conference to the Classroom
Our connection to Florida educators was reinforced earlier this year at the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC), where STEMPilot showcased our full suite of educational solutions to thousands of enthusiastic educators and administrators. The excitement in the air was undeniable—educators across the state were eager to bring hands-on, tech-enabled STEM learning into their classrooms. Boyd H. Anderson High School is a shining example of how that vision becomes reality. Florida is not only a national leader in education innovation—it’s also one of the top states in the country for transportation, tourism, and aerospace industries. With multiple international airports, spaceports, and one of the busiest tourism economies in the world, the demand for skilled pilots, aviation technicians, and aerospace professionals in Florida is rapidly growing. This creates a unique opportunity for students at Boyd H. Anderson and across the state to gain the foundational knowledge needed to thrive in these high-demand sectors. By learning with STEMPilot’s flight simulators, students aren’t just gaining classroom experience—they’re stepping directly into the pipeline of Florida’s thriving aviation and aerospace job market.
What’s Next for Boyd and STEMPilot?
As the simulators make their way to campus, we look forward to supporting the educators and students at Boyd H. Anderson in launching their aviation journey. These Pilot Pro 3i units will offer students the chance to develop spatial reasoning, flight planning skills, and a deeper understanding of flight mechanics—all within the safety and structure of a classroom setting.
