01 Jun Congratulations to Josh Rivera now First Officer at SkyWest Airlines

We met Josh Rivera when he was a sophomore at Frederick Douglass Academy in NYC. Josh learned to fly by training on the STEMPilot Flight Simulators at his school. He earned a full scholarship at Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology where he graduated with honors. At Vaughn he completed his FAA Certifications: Private Pilot license, Twin rating, Instrument Rating, Certified Flight Instructor(CFI)  and Certified Instrument Flight Instructor(CFII). Josh  taught other pilot to fly to log the 1500 hours needed to become a commercial airline pilot. Josh was hired to SkyWest Airline as First Officer. In a few years he will become Captain and earn an amazing living doing what he loves. All of this from his  high school Aviation Program.
