As you may recall. Josh Rivera is a student we met when he was a sophomore at Frederic Douglass Academy in NYC. He earned a full scholarship to Vaughn College of Aviation and Engineering where he graduated with honors and a private, instrument, Commercial, CFI and CFII ratings, all at age 21. He has now completed his certification in Commercial Twin Engine aircraft. Josh has now complete the 1500 hours requirement and is ready for a pathway to commercial air transport training.  All of this began with an aviation program in his school. It can be done!
